Brown Bag Speaker Series in South Central LA | July 2, 2019
A Place Called Home offers a Summer Intensive Program for rising college, first year students. They invited us to speak as part of their Brown Bag Speaker Series to students associated with the summer course, Critical Research and Writing: Poetics and Social Justice. A Place Called Home provides a safe, nurturing environment with proven programs in arts, education and wellness for the young people in South Central Los Angeles to help them improve their economic conditions and develop healthy, fulfilling and purposeful lives.
