FROM GOOD TO EXCEPTIONAL | A COACH'S TRANSFORMATION
"Mona's unique strength as a coach is in her ability to hold enough space for the swirl of questions and feelings that arose as I explored my inner landscape, while also never losing sight of the core of our work. She is profoundly insightful, and her questions and observations were immeasurably powerful in opening my perspective and infusing old problems and patterns with a new sense of awareness and possibility. Her presence is a balance of deep compassion and unyielding courage, which was a source of modeling and inspiration as I worked on cultivating and trusting those qualities in myself. My free-range imagination and constant use of metaphor were consistently embraced as strengths by Mona, which allowed me to feel more acceptance and faith in my own capabilities. I am a better writer, a better coach, and a better human being after having worked with Mona."

FROM FEELING LOST TO EXPLORING MULTIPLE CAREER PATHS
"Before coaching, I found myself feeling the most lost and unproductive I had ever felt. I was unemployed and unable to pursue anything seriously. The first few sessions I struggled with follow-through. But as I began implementing what we were working with, I felt myself really progress.
By the end, I had started a part-time job and made serious progress towards three different career paths: enrolled in a physical therapy aid course, completed the practice test for substitute teaching exams, and contacted an academic advisor about another career.
I'm still not set on a specific path yet, but I feel much more confident and assured that I'm moving in the right direction. Mona is an 11/10 coach."

FROM UNCOMFORTABLE TO EMPOWERED | A STEM PROFESSIONAL'S JOURNEY TO VALUES CLARITY
"Before starting my work with Mona, I was uncomfortable talking about myself. As a naturally introverted person and a middle child, I was not used to taking up much space. However, Mona's empathetic and insightful approach encouraged me to dig deeper, share more openly, and helped me unearth my values. This discovery has become my true north! I now empower others through my Latinas in STEM book research. Mona's guidance has been transformative, and I highly recommend her to anyone seeking personal and professional growth."
-Melissa M.

FROM STUCK AND OVERWHELMED TO LIGHTER AND HAPPIER
"I was in a rough patch emotionally and felt stuck. I found Mona at the right time. She guided me to a much better place emotionally and mentally just after the very first session. I have a tendency to lean on negativity and not prioritize myself. Through Mona's guidance, I found different methods of rewiring my brain so I don't fall back into the same detrimental habits. Mona created an extremely comfortable environment that felt more like talking things through with a trusted friend. But with real accountability and expert insight. After just a few sessions, I started feeling happier, like a weight was lifted off my shoulders. She helped me not only find new tools but also taught me how to apply tools I had previously learned to achieve my goals."

Will This Work for You?
Do you work with clients who aren't sure what they want?
This is exactly where many clients start. Diana came to coaching feeling "the most lost and unproductive" she'd ever felt. The work isn't about having answers before we begin. It's about creating the conditions for clarity to emerge. Through our sessions, you'll develop language for what matters to you, recognize what's been driving your decisions, and build confidence to move toward what you discover. Not knowing is not a problem. It's often the most honest place to start.
What if I'm not good at journaling or reflection?
You don't need to be good at these practices to benefit from coaching. Many clients, like Melissa, weren't comfortable with self-reflection when we started. What matters isn't natural ability. It's being open to trying something unfamiliar. I guide the process, offer structure, and meet you where you are. Some clients write pages. Others write sentences or bullet points. The goal is to learn something about yourself in the process. The practice develops as we work together. What matters is that you're engaging with reflection in some form, not that you're doing it perfectly.
Can this help if I'm burned out but can't leave my job right now?
Yes. Most clients stay in their current situations while we work together. Coaching isn't about escape plans or waiting until you can make a big change. It's about shifting how you operate to stop depleting yourself. Our anonymous client found relief after just a few sessions while still employed. We work on identifying what's driving the burnout, establishing boundaries, and making decisions based on what matters to you. The clarity about what's next comes from that foundation, not from pushing through until you break.
How do I know if I'm ready for coaching?
If you recognize yourself in any of the "before" moments in these stories, you're ready. Kelly was already a successful coach when she started. Diana wasn't sure she had the confidence. They were both ready because they were willing to look honestly at where they were and curious about what else was possible. Readiness isn't about having your life together or being in crisis. It's about being tired of operating the same way and wanting support to see what you can't see on your own. Book a complimentary consultation. We'll talk about where you are, and you'll know if this feels right.
I don't see someone exactly like me in these stories. Will this work for me?
These stories show different types of transformation, but they don't represent every client I've worked with or every situation I've supported. What connects all my clients is that they are high-functioning and question how they work, lead, or who they are becoming. They're navigating transitions, overwhelm, or uncertainty about what's next. If you're reading these stories and thinking "that sounds like me, but x,y,z is different," that's when a consultation would be helpful. We'll explore whether coaching fits where you are right now, while honoring all of who you are and what you are navigating.
