"Be patient toward all that is unsolved in your heart and try to love the questions themselves, like locked rooms and like books that are now written in a very foreign tongue. Do not now seek the answers, which cannot be given to you because you would not be able to live them. And the point is, to live everything. Live the questions now. Perhaps you will then gradually, without noticing it, live along some distant day into the answer." — Rainer Maria Rilke

What is Dear Mango?
Dear Mango began as a personal inquiry.
A quiet curiosity about my name, lineage across cultures, and our love of mangoes. Like mangoes that traveled across oceans and took root everywhere, we all carry stories that connect us. No matter where you're from or where life has planted you. This space welcomes anyone who's been told or felt they're 'too much' or 'not enough.'
Everywhere I look, I see people planted in soil that can't nourish them. Working jobs that drain them, staying in relationships that diminish them, living lives that feel too small. I lived that way for years. Reflective writing changed my life by helping me find my way back to myself.

Why Reflective Writing?
Reflective writing is not about finding answers. It was about making space. Space to honor your experiences, live the questions, and reconnect with your inner authority.
That practice changed how I make decisions, navigate change, and relate to myself. Dear Mango holds reflective writing as a practice of presence and self-trust. We use pen to paper to discover what is beneath the surface. We welcome folks across continents and time zones.
We do not have forever to connect the dots looking back. The time to Study Yourself® is now.
With love and abundant roots,
Mona

Dear Mango Evolves
Dear Mango is not a single offering. It is an evolving body of work. Each invitation is designed to support presence, clarity, and self-trust, without urgency or pressure to perform. You are welcome to engage in one way or many.
